About Our Owner, Rich Podowski
Richwood RV Interiors was started in 1977 in San Diego, CA. Our locally-owned and operated business initially performed van conversions and mobile business outfitting. As the industry demand grew for higher quality conversions, Richwood began offering limited series camper conversions on both van chassis and towable campers.
The van conversion business started slowing in the late 80’s prompting us to add general RV interior work, such as re-carpets and upholstery. Eventually, we expanded our services to include floor plan changes, headliners, TV entertainment centers, as well as complete bus conversion interior work. Today, just like when we began, RICHWOOD's main goal is to offer 40+ years of experience in interior work to make your RV perfect for your lifestyle.
